According to the Daily Telegraph, several employees who previously worked in Manchester United's business department will work with Tottenham. Victoria Tipson, who served as Manchester United's global league and cooperation chief executive, left Manchester United last summer and previously worked for the club for 16 years, the Telegraph reported. In her final year of her tenure, she led the club's office in central London to drive business revenue growth, up 17%.

After Tipson left office, her position was briefly taken over by Manchester United's commercial director Rafaye, who also left after 13 years of working at Manchester United. Edge has worked at Manchester United for 29 years and is mainly responsible for the signing of the club's commercial contracts. She also left Manchester United.

The three, together with Tom Liston Jones, another former Manchester United business executive, data and strategy director, set up a new agency with 20 employees, called Altius8. The company has reached an agreement with Tottenham chairman Levi to make a transformative impact on the club’s revenue. It is reported that Tipsen and colleagues will be responsible for managing a series of sponsored assets of Tottenham, but it is not clear whether it includes a naming rights agreement for Tottenham's new stadium.

Tipson helped the club extend its sponsorship contract with Qualcomm in August last year, before leaving Manchester United, after Tipsson helped Manchester United get sponsorship from TeamViewer. Last summer, Tipson chose to leave during the first wave of mass layoffs and departures launched by Ratcliffe. During her tenure at Tipson, she helped Manchester United reach sponsorship agreements with several companies.
