David Coott was charged for violating the FA Rule E3 for making inappropriate remarks against Jurgen Klopp in a video recorded around July 2020, which was exposed on social media in November 2024.
The referee allegedly acted improperly and/or used abusive and/or insulting words that violated FA Rule E3.1.

The allegations against David Coot's suspected gambling misconduct were not filed after a comprehensive investigation.
