Guo Huiguang (47 years old), the current chairman of the board of directors of Shangri-La Asia and the daughter of Malaysia's richest man Guo Henian, will also serve as the president of the group from next month.
In 2022, Shangri-La Asia transferred former president Lin Mingzhi to non-executive director, and the president seemed to be vacant until Guo Huiguang took over.

Under the current contract, Guo Huiguang's salary is HK$576,000 (approximately S$94,284) per month, including discretionary bonuses and pensions. The price of Shangri-La Asia's stocks listed on the SGX was HK$4.56 (approximately SGX 0.75), with no change as of 11:21 am on July 16; stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange fell 0.43% to HK$4.63.

Guo Huiguang is the daughter of Malaysia's richest man, Guo Hennian and his second wife, He Baolian. He grew up in Hong Kong since childhood and is one of the core members of the "Guo Family".
