Riding on the huge surge in DRAM and NAND Flash quotations in the fourth quarter, memory module manufacturer ADATA Technology set a new record for the same period in history at 4.463 billion yuan in October, despite adopting a reluctant sales strategy. It was also the sixth time in 2025 that it set a new record for the same period in a single month. Cumulatively, the consolidated revenue of 41.635 billion yuan in the first ten months of 2025 has successfully surpassed the 40.037 billion yuan for the whole of 2024, and is striving towards a new annual record high.
Chen Libai, chairman of ADATA, said that the three CSP giants such as AWS, Azure and Google have increased their capital expenditures, expanded their cloud infrastructure layout, and plan to be the first to contract the production capacity of memory factories in the next three years due to the urgent increase in AI computing power demand. However, the current inventory of original memory manufacturers has dropped to a very low level, and there will be no new production capacity to join the supply next year. It is even announced that the production capacity in 2026 has been sold out. At this stage, not only the prices of DRAM and NAND Flash are rising more strongly, but even HDD prices are rising together, which is completely unprecedented.
Under this, Chen Libai also reiterated that no matter how much he buys now, it is not enough to sell. The factory has once again been fully loaded and working overtime to support the supply gap of major customers. The market gap of DRAM and NAND Flash in 2026 is likely to last for a whole year. At present, in addition to accelerating procurement and raising inventory levels, the company will also maintain a cautious attitude towards shipments so that each order can obtain the best benefits. As the memory boom approaches in 2026, we must not only seize the opportunity with a strong layout, but also hope to achieve greater success in overall profits in the fourth quarter and 2026.
ADATA’s consolidated revenue in October was 4.463 billion yuan, an increase of 30.87% compared with the same period in 2024 and a decrease of 14.9% compared with September. The proportion of DRAM revenue in a single month was 54.61%, SSD accounted for 33.2%, and memory cards, flash drives and other products accounted for 12.19%. The cumulative consolidated revenue in the first ten months of 2025 is 41.635 billion yuan, which is not only an increase of 23.71% compared with 2024, but also exceeds the full-year revenue in 2024. Among them, DRAM revenue contribution was 59.08%, followed by SSD at 27.89%, and memory cards, flash drives and other products at 13.03%.
