Jensen Huang, CEO of the global AI chip leader NVIDIA (NVIDIA), has confirmed that he will attend the APEC CEO Summit to be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea from October 28 to 31. More than 1,700 global business leaders will gather to discuss important issues such as regional economic integration, AI revolution, and energy transformation.

Reuters and other foreign media reported that NVIDIA recently announced that CEO Huang Jensen will deliver a speech at this APEC Business Leaders Summit, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as AI, robotics, digital twins (Digital twins) and autonomous driving, in order to strengthen the company's layout in South Korea and the global market. The industry expects that Huang may arrange meetings with senior executives of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix during this trip to discuss the direction of cooperation in AI data center memory.

It is worth noting that this will be Jen-Hsun Huang’s official visit to South Korea again after 15 years. Japan’s SoftBank Group Chairman Masayoshi Son and OpenAI CEO Altman may also attend the summit, which means that the three core figures leading the US$500 billion “Stargate” project are expected to communicate at the same venue. In addition, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, who have already participated in the project, are expected to stir up more specific cooperation possibilities.
